7 Star Salon sits on East Main Street in Greenwood, and the name is the promise: seven points to a star, seven steps to every service. Consult, wash, cut, line, beard, style, finish — nothing skipped because the shop is busy.

That's why a signature haircut here runs about forty-five minutes. It's also why we keep taking walk-ins until 8pm: people work late, and a good cut shouldn't require planning a week ahead.

The part we're proudest of isn't in the price list. When a regular told us his father was too sick to leave the house, our barbers packed up and cut his hair at home. That's the kind of shop we're trying to be — the neighborhood barber, not a chain chair.
